Spring Morning on the Palouse

Yesterday the scrapers started on the southeast  corner of the site grubbing and removing topsoil that will be stockpiled for later placement on the lots after they have been grading to their final subgrade elevation. The old wheat stubble mixed in with the topsoil will help stabilize the soil upon final placement and prevent erosion of the topsoil. Beautiful sunny cold spring morning. Weather scheduled for 80 degrees by this coming Sunday, perfect for WSU graduation weekend.
